Forced Teleportation: Teleportation powers are powerful. Some allow you to teleport enemies. Given enough squares you can teleport such an unfortunate foe into many bad places, such as high up in the air, over pits of lava, ect. If you attempt to teleport a creature into hindering terrain the creature is allowed to make an immediate saving throw to resist the teleportation effect. On a successful save the creature ignores the teleportation effect. If you teleport a creature into a square it can normally occupy however it can do nothing to stop this. The only exception to this are powers that explicitly state that they can teleport a creature into a space that may be considered hindering terrain. Such as the Level 9 daily warlock power Storm Countess’s Kiss, where the creature is teleported and held suspended anywhere from 10 to 35 feet above the ground at which point they fall down and go splat… No saving throw in that case because the text says the creature is held in the air.
